Bugs and disabling of competitive queues in Valorant may be annoying sometimes. That’s why we shared with you these tips so that you can fix those problems.
VALORANT receives updates from time to time and sometimes these updates end up inconveniencing players. While bugs or random errors pop up from time to time, sometimes the VALORANT competitive queue is disabled. In most cases, the comp queue being disabled is a deliberate Riot action to preserve the experience. Here’s how to fix VALORANT queue disabled error in the game.
VALORANT released on June 20, 2020, and Riot regularly puts out patch updates. These updates include changes to Agents, new maps, or just balance updates. For many players, playing Ranked is an important experience in VALORANT. But when they click the play button, they encounter a message saying the competitive queue is disabled. Here’s what it means and what you can do.
How to fix VALORANT queue disabled
- Restart your game
- Patience is key.
Riot Games usually announces any changes to the comp queue via their social media, primarily Twitter. However, on some occasions, such as on February 7, 2023, the comp queue was disabled without any official announcements.
In such cases, you should just wait it out till the competitive queue is back. You can spend time playing non-ranked game modes or have fun with your friends in a lobby. Ideally, the comp queues are back online within the span of a couple of years.
Restart your game
On other occasions, an error or bug could also result in a VALORANT comp queue disabled error. While it’s not possible to know for now whether a bug is causing the error or a Riot move, a simple restart does not take much time.
Restarting the game should fix any errors and hopefully, you can start playing ranked soon.
VALORANT Server Maintenance
Often before big patch updates, Riot initiates server maintenance. The servers usually go offline for a few hours and you are thereby unable to play the game during this period
