Ghost of Our Love is a side quest in Hogwarts Legacy, introduced to players after accepting a certain request from Ollivander in Hogsmeade. The quest itself is not particularly hard or time-consuming, but it does require solving the secret of a mysterious map to reach the correct location.
How To Complete Ghost Of Our Love Quest In Hogwarts Legacy
To complete the Ghost of Our Love side quest in Hogwarts Legacy, players need to trigger the quest by picking up a map and then finding the location drawn on it. Upon closer inspection, the map shows four different clues:
- The forest on the left corner with a crescent moon indicates the time, which is at night.
- The Forbidden Forest entrance drawn in the top right corner of the map indicates the location.
- The wand in the middle hints at Lumos to make candles appear.
- The bridge at the bottom of the map is where supposedly the candles will spawn upon using Lumos.
With these clues in mind, follow these simple steps:
- If it’s daytime, open the Map section and change the time to nightfall.
- Fast Travel to the Forbidden Forest’s waypoint that’s near the entrance, which is southwest of Hogsmeade on the World Map.
- Turn around to see a stone bridge.
- Walk towards the bridge and cast Lumos once the protagonist is close enough.
After that, a bunch of floating candles will appear and players have to follow them into the Forbidden Forest until they reach a clearing full of candles and a table for two which is basked in a romantic glow.

While trying to investigate the Owlery and looking for the missing pieces of the puzzle in Hogwarts Legacy, use the ladder to climb higher. On the left side of the tower floor is a piece of paper on the ground, which is actually the map that triggers the Ghost of Our Love side quest.
